With just a few more days of waiting left to endure, we’re all prepped and lined up on the grid ready to kick-start this year’s
Motorcycle Live.
Our backroom team are fine tuning the Principal stand which this year is set to feature some absolutely doozies, including the previously revealed
Eccythump Ducati Scrambler and Rob Kingston’s mighty
265bhp Triumph Rocket III.
To that dynamic duo we can now disclose the third in the line-up of five stunning machines that we’re exhibiting on stand 4C40 – a super-sharp ‘Blade. We talk of the CBR1000RR7 ridden by road racing legend Ian Hutchinson to secure one of three podiums claimed by the West Yorkshire rider at the 2007 TT.
Hutchy averaged an impressive 124mph on the Manx circuit, riding a bike which packs around 180bhp and features a Showa rear suspension, K-Tech front fork kit and an Akrapovic exhaust system. It was also favoured the same year by Steve Brogan who rode it to second place in the British Superstock championship.

But not only is this mighty machine a consummate circuit chewer, it’s a head-turner too, bedecked as it is in full race body kit and sporting a striking black, red and orange livery. Phwoaaar, as we might say were we to take something of a tabloid turn!
Talking of biking beauties don’t forget that every visitor to our stand can claim a free 2016 calendar which is packed with magnificent metal, including the aforementioned custom Scrambler. Whilst we’ll be happily giving away these chronological wall-hangers at the show, we’re not going to give away now further details of the other bikes featured. After all we all like a surprise don’t we?
