As part of our pledge to back British biking we're pleased to announce we have agreed to sponsor an exciting new show which makes its debut at Santa Pod Raceway this May.
Race, Rock 'N' Ride is set to be a real adrenaline-drenched affair, with stunt bike and monster truck displays, a
FireForce jet car capable of clocking 336mp, a wheelie competition, Wall of Death, plus the always much loved opportunity to Run What Ya Brung. Oh yes and the world famous drag-racing venue will also let you go for a wee spin in a two seater dragster!

New, classic and custom motorcycles will of course be on display whilst after the sun goes down there'll be live music, with hard-rocking AC/DC tribute act
Live/Wire already confirmed
The show is being organised in association with Santa Pod by Mortons who already lay on some of the UK's best-loved bike shows, such as Stafford's International Classic and Classic Motorcycle Mechanics shows and Stoneleigh Park's International Dirt Bike Show. As publishers of biking glossies such as Back Street Heroes and Fast Bikes, these guys 'n' gals really know their motorcycles and how to put on a cracking show.
Race, Rock 'N' Ride has certainly got our marketing manager Matt Byrne and indeed the rest of the Principal petrolheads all very excitable.
“This has ‘instant hit’ written all over it," says Matt. "It’s hard to imagine a better combination than classic, custom and seriously fast bikes paired with a world renowned drag racing venue.
“Our whole bike team is very excited at the prospect and we’re delighted to lend our support to an event which is sure to get the adrenaline pumping.”
Morton's exhibition manager Nick Mowbray has also welcomed us on board, saying: “We’re really excited to be working with Santa Pod to introduce Race, Rock ’n’ Ride and to welcome Principal Insurance on board as sponsor.”

News of the Santa Pod sponsorship follows hot on the heels of
our announcement that we are backing no fewer thanfour Motorcycle Action Group events this year. You'll find us lending our name to
Into The Valley, The Farmyard Party, the Yorkshire Pudding Rally and Stormin’ The Castle after we enjoyed such a crack with the MAG team and crowds in 2015.
Race, Rock 'N' Ride takes place over the Saturday May 21st - Sunday May 22nd. Advance weekend tickets, including camping, cost just £23 with kids under 16 going free. Day entry costs £13. For more details visit www.racerockride.co.uk.
