Bikers flock to Santa Pod for new Race, Rock 'n' Ride show

Not even the rain of biblical proportions that fell on Santa Pod on Saturday could deter bikers from flocking their thousands to the world-famous raceway for biking's hottest new show - Race, Rock 'n' Ride! A stunning array of bikes took to stands and track, complemented by monster trucks, a 268mph jet car, Steve Colley's ever popular motorcycle stunt show and, come night time, properly hard rock from top AC/DC tribute band, Live/Wire. Arguably the highlight of many of the weekend's highlights was the Run What You Brung which tempted many a rider and some monumentally magnificent machines to the Northamptonshire strip. Jim Ord Honda CX650 EDAll told it was a magnificent debut for a new show which has injected fresh life into the show scene with its heady, petrol-scented mix of the best of both two and four wheeled beauties.
