Which motorcycles can I cover on multi bike insurance?
One question we're often asked is 'Which motorcycles can I cover on multi-bike insurance?'
It's a good question. We think you'll like the answer!
Classics? Customs? Mopeds? Quads? Sports?
The simple answer is that, as long they satisfy underwriting criteria, you can cover pretty much any motorcycle on a multi-bike insurance policy.
We're talking any combination of modern, classic, custom or vintage motorcycle, scooter or moped.
Within these broad classes you can include more precise categories such as adventure, bobber, cafe racer, cruiser, commuter, naked, retro, sports, supersports, tourer, trail and quad bikes.
So, for example you could secure classic motorcycle insurance alongside cover for a modern bike or bikes on a multi bike policy.
Can I cover a trike on multi-bike insurance?
Again, the answer is yes.
Your bikes don't need to be two-wheelers as many insurers will cover trikes on a multi bike policy, even if the they're classified as motorcycles, not cars.

You can also cover a trike or trikes on specialist multi-vehicle insurance.
This differs from multi-bike insurance in that the base vehicle around which your policy is built can be a bike, car, motorhome, agricultural or military vehicle - as long as it's specialist.
A classic or custom motorcycle would qualify as specialist, but not, say, a factory standard modern commuter bike. Trikes are, by definition, specialist.
Can I cover a car on multi-bike insurance?
You can cover a car with your bike or bikes on a multi-vehicle insurance policy.
This allows you to insure any combination of car, motorcycle, motorhome, campervan or van - again subject only to meeting underwriting criteria.
