Lyndsey Gilbey takes on management information role

We're pleased to announce that, Lyndsey Gilbey, a highly experienced financial services management information professional, has joined Principal as Management Information Analyst. Lyndsey boasts over 20 years’ experience in the field and joins us at our Manchester-headquarters from health insurance broker Chase Templeton where she was management information officer. She began her career as a customer advisor with Carole Nash Insurance in 2001, with promotions seeing the broker appointing her as a senior MI analyst three years later. She held that post for over six years before joining Wave Lending in a similar role.

Experience and expertise

In 2008 she was appointed as an MI analyst at Barclaycard. She spent over five years with the multinational credit card and payment services provider, her expertise supporting its operational readiness and complaints performance, analysis improvement functions. In her new role Lyndsey will report to our head of finance Stephen Bolton. Her responsibilities will include analysis of our call centre, performance and finance data. This will assist the group in maximising operational efficiencies and service levels. Her appointment comes as our group now serves around 50,000 personal and commercial insurance policyholders. The former includes specialist motorcycle, car, motorhome and van insurance policies, whilst the group’s commercial division has particular strengths in the hire and reward, courier and motor fleet sectors. We also broker motorcycle insurance policies in the Republic of Ireland through our Dublin office.
