This advisory role will require the successful candidate to confidently handle outbound service calls across the policy portfolio, invite renewals, amendments and other customer service enquiries.

The successful candidate will:

  • Preferably although not essential, have one or more years’ insurance experience.
  • Understand our customers’ specialist insurance needs.
  • Be driven and ambitious to progress their career.
  • Be self-starting, responsive and able to learn quickly.
  • Have strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English)
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Have a friendly and confident telephone manner.
  • Be committed to offering excellent customer service.
  • Be organised and have an eye for detail.

Role: Outbound Sales Agent

Location: Manchester

Hours: 37.5 weekly with overtime opportunities

Starting salary: £18,000 + uncapped bonus scheme + benefits

The job….

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and pro-active outbound sales professionals to progress their career with one of the UK’s fastest growing specialist brokers.

The team serves both motorcycle, van and commercial customers and any experience of related insurance issues would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a more challenging role and to secure a position within a dynamic business offering opportunities for further career progression.

This role will require the successful candidate to confidently handle outbound sales calls via a dialler, across the policy portfolio, including routing calls to the appropriate specialist team. The successful applicant will be required to accurately input data into our system in order to provide insurance quotations.

The successful candidate will offer:

  • A commitment to offering excellent customer service.
  • A friendly and confident telephone manner.
  • The ability to successfully manage and resolve customer queries, including prioritising and escalating as appropriate
  • An enthusiasm for developing existing and learning new skills, including pursuing certificated industry qualifications.

  • Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.
