We've been shortlisted for Excellence!

We're pleased to announce we're up for yet another prestigious national award!

We've just received the welcome news that we have been shortlisted for the British Insurance Technology Awards (BITA).

Set to reach their climax at London's Marriott Grosvenor Hotel in June, the awards "recognise trailblazing companies and individuals reshaping the landscape, driving digital transformation, and revolutionising how the market operates."

Our nomination is for the application of the sophisticated customer experience and speech analytics solution which we developed and implemented with our technology partner, Avoira.

This groundbreaking tool helps us to better identify and support vulnerable customers as well as enhance the service we provide to both our existing policyholders and potential customers.

Driven by powerful Xdroid analytics software, our tailor-made solution incorporates a Vulnerable Customers Identification Tool which helps us identify a wide range of potential vulnerabilities.

It also includes as Customer Sentiment Tracker so we can impartially verify satisfaction levels and use these to inform our training and further enhance our customer service.

Pioneering solution

Our shortlisting at the BITAs follows hot on the heels of our success at the National Insurance Awards.

Earlier this month our Managing Director Dave Bowcock and Head of Distribution Matt Byrne took to the stage to accept the Initiative of the Year award, again for our innovative and pioneering customer service solution.


Prior to this Avoira had also donned their black ties to accept the Best SME Contact Centre Customer Solution trophy at the Comms National Awards.

This recognised the company's work in creating and implementing the bespoke application of Xdroid here at Principal Insurance.
