You’ve probably been looking for a vintage motorcycle for sale, and there sure are some beauties!
From a vintage Honda to a Triumph there are quite a few charming bikes you could purchase. But how about some Italian spirit with Moto Guzzi?
This classic motorcycles manufacturer claims to be Europe’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer – or at least to have continuously produced bikes for the longest. Moto Guzzi was founded in 1921, the same year the first BMW machine rolled off the line.
Italian airforce buddies Carlo Guzzi, Giovanni Ravelli and Giorgio Parodi brought, respectively, engineering skills, capital and racing prowess to the fledgling classic motorcycles marque which proceeded to tear up GP and TT circuits.
Having started out with the vintage motorcycles 8bhp, 50mph Normale, by the 70s Moto Guzzi was knocking out gems such as the V7 Sport, a pumped up café racer version of its established roadster.
Where? The HQ, factory and Moto Guzzi museum can be found hugging the edge of Lake Como in Mandello del Lario, north of Milan. Having gone from independent ownership to being part of the De Tomaso and Aprilia stables, the company is now a member of the Piaggio family.
What? Adventures, Cruisers, Customs, Roadsters, Sports, Sportstourers, Supersports, Tourers.
