Launched to great acclaim last year the adrenaline and rocket-fuelled show attracted thousands of bikers and petrolheads to the Northamptonshire venue.
Our marketing manager Steven Downs explained why we’re happily supporting the show, saying: “We were delighted to throw our weight behind the inaugural and highly successful Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride festival. Naturally we’re delighted to again sponsor one of the fastest and freshest events on the UK bike show scene.”
He added the show is a perfect fit for Principal given that we’re a key player in the UK and Ireland’s motorcycle insurance sector and arrange high-performance, high value, kit, replica and classic car insurance.
Nick Mowbray, exhibitions manager at Mortons, publisher of Fast Bikes and Back Street Heroes, welcomed our support, saying: “We’re delighted to again welcome Principal Insurance as title sponsor of Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride. The support of like-minded businesses is vital to the health of UK show calendar, no more so than when establishing new events.”
Our appearance at Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride will be part of a massive 63 date tour of UK and Irish motorcycle and motor shows. The largest itinerary we’ve ever undertaken this will take us to both major national motorcycle and car shows as well as regional and grassroots events.
Explaining why we invest so heavily in sponsoring and attending shows and events, Steven Downs said: “For us the best way to reach our specialist audiences is not through hugely expensive search engine optimisation exercises and the like. It’s pumping the flesh of enthusiasts, sharing their passions and answering their questions whether at Santa Pod, the NEC or a muddy Yorkshire field!”
